Born in La Piedad, Mexico, Maria moved to Covington, Georgia, with her family at age four. After graduating from Newton High School in Covington, she earned BAs in both International Studies and Spanish from Georgia Southern University.
Maria has worked in customer service for 11 years and has three years of experience working as a medical interpreter. She has always been interested in immigration law because of her hybrid background and spent a year working as a legal assistant for another immigration attorney. Maria’s hobbies include reading, photography, and travel. She also loves helping people and making others laugh.
