Marina Mejia was born in El Salvador, immigrating to the United States in the 1980s.
Inspired by her mother’s activism in the Atlanta Latino community, Marina
determined that she also wanted to help others, eventually obtaining a paralegal
certificate from the University of Georgia’s Gwinnett campus.
With a focus on business immigration, Marina serves Antonini and Cohen’s clients
by preparing and submitting visas, assisting attorneys with cases, and helping with
translations. As a contract administrator, she also works directly with the sales team
to create and manage customer agreements. She relishes the research-driven
aspects of her job.
Outside of work, Marina is a personal trainer, focusing on functional training
extending beyond short-term fitness goals. She believes in increasing strength and
mobility through exercise while also relieving stress. She is also active in political
campaigns and the Black Lives Matter movement.
Marina enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter and three dogs. She says
being a fulltime mom is her No. 1 title.
