Originally from North Carolina, Stanton received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then continued his studies with a master’s degree from the University of Chicago and a law degree from Vanderbilt Law School.
Stanton became interested in immigration affairs during high school. However, it wasn’t until law school that he decided to focus on immigration. Stanton is a dedicated proponent for the immigrant community, and he is passionate about making a difference while serving the needs of the refugee and immigrant communities.
