Antonini & Cohen Attorneys Speak at AILA Conference

Atlanta, Georgia hosted the AILA Georgia-Alabama Chapter 2016 Immigration Law Conference “Lights! Camera! Immigration!” on February 19-20. Nearly 220 conference attendees from across the US learned how to successfully address some of the most challenging issues facing immigration lawyers today while networking with leading immigration law experts.

Marshall Cohen, a Founding Partner of Antonini & Cohen and current AILA Chapter Chair, welcomed the group and introduced keynote speaker Ben Johnson, Executive Director of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Marshall also led a panel discussion entitled A Star Is Born: Presenting Successful Cases for Individuals with Extraordinary Ability and Outstanding Professors and Researchers.

Carolina Antonini, also a Founding Partner of Antonini & Cohen, led a full-session presentation on ethical obligations in family- and employment-based immigration cases. Antonini & Cohen attorney Sarah Owings, currently serving as the AILA Chapter First Vice Chair, led a discussion on negotiating with the government.
