What is an H-1B Visa?
The H-1B visa is designed for professionals with specialized degrees, including fields like engineering, architecture, health, and computer science. Candidates must possess a practical application of specialized knowledge, a US bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) or higher, and a job offer from a US employer. This is not a self-petitioning visa. Employers are responsible for submitting petitions on behalf of their employees and registering them for the H-1B lottery.
