Tips for your Immigration Medical Exam

Writer's picture: Antonini & CohenAntonini & Cohen

If you’re filing a Green Card application in the U.S., you’ll need to complete an Immigration Medical Exam.

Here are three tips to help you with that:

1) Make sure to file the exam with your immigration case within 60 days of the doctor’s signature.

2) Note that the exam is typically valid for two years.

3) Don’t open the sealed medical exam. Instead, ask the physician for a courtesy copy for your records.
